The Status Quo
Approximately 8 out of every 10 cut flowers in the United States comes from the fields of South America. They are flown to Miami International Airport where they go through security screenings and customs. From there, they are trucked across the country to grocery stores and florists. This entire process can take 8 – 10 days and subjects the flowers to damaging temperature changes and environments.
We do things at lot differently!
When you order your flowers, they are still in the field! Once received, we submit your order to one of our farming partners. The flowers are then cut and cooled for a day to eliminate any moisture that could damage the flowers during shipment. The following day, the flowers are boxed, labeled, and submitted to UPS.
UPS flies the flowers to Miami where they are inspected and approved by customs. From there, they are flown to local UPS centers across the United States and delivered to your home by 10:30 am (95% of Zip codes receive orders by 10:30). This entire process takes between 3 or 4 business days and the flowers never leave their temperature-controlled environment. Our direct delivery system provides our customers glorious flowers that are more vibrant and last longer than anything that you can get from local retailers.
Variety
Flower retailers can only afford to keep the most popular and common varieties in their stores. With Fresh Flowers Every Day, we source the flowers directly from the fields, so we do not have to worry about maintaining an inventory. We provide dozens of varieties of roses, alstroemerias, and more, many of which you have probably never seen before.
