FAQs

Celebrating the Wonder of Flowers

01. What type of flowers do you sell?

We sell premium roses and alstroemeria in every variety and color imaginable. In the coming months, we will begin to offer additional varieties of Colombian grown flowers.

02. What makes Fresh Flowers Every Day different from my local florist?

We are not your everyday florist! Our flowers are still in the field when you order them. Approximately three days before your requested delivery date, your flowers are cut, prepared, packaged, and air-mailed directly to your home.
Our flowers come directly to you from Colombia, the flower capital of the world. Your flowers arrive on your doorstep 2-4 days after being cut from the field (compared to 8-10 for florist and other flower retailers). They are shipped and maintained in a temperature-controlled state at all times. They are more beautiful and will last longer than any flowers that you have ever experienced.

03. Do you guarantee your flowers?

Yes! Please contact customer service if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your flowers with an explanation and a picture of the problem.
One of our professionals will reach out to you to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your experience at Fresh Flowers Every Day.

04. What is in the box?

Your flowers will be professionally wrapped and sealed in protective packaging to ensure the health and beauty of the flowers. The flowers are ready to cut and arrange in your favorite vase. You will also receive one or more packets of flower food depending on the quantity of flowers in your order.

05. How do I care for my flowers?

When you receive your flowers, follow these easy steps:
Carefully remove the flowers from the packaging as soon as possible (there are two layers).
Remove any leaves that would touch the water. You can also thin out the other leaves as desired.
Fill a large vase about 1/3 of the way with fresh water (the vase should be at least one-third the height of the stems to keep the stems from bending).
Mix in flower food (or a teaspoon of sugar, drop of bleach, drop of lemon).
Cut about ½ inch off the bottom of the stems at an angle (some people like to cut all of the stems to the same size for easy arranging).
Arrange the flowers in the vase to your desire.
For roses, some people like to remove the guard petals. These are the petals that are a slightly different color and texture that are located on the outside of the blooms. Their purpose is to protect the inner petals.
Place in a cool spot for the longest life.
Enjoy.

06. If I have a big event on a particular day, when should I order my flowers?

Your flowers will arrive fresh from the fields and will not yet be in full bloom. Their peak bloom will be approximately 2-3 days after delivery. You can delay the blooming process by adding ice to the water in the vase or speed the blooming process by putting warm water in the vase.

07. Can I select my delivery date?

You can select the delivery date for your flowers on the check-out form. Your flowers are picked and shipped 2-3 days prior to the desired delivery date. The shipment takes 2 days to travel from Colombia to Miami to your home.
Our flowers nearly always arrive via UPS before 10:30 am. Please check the tracking number and your front door! If the flowers are a gift, please let the recipient know when to expect the flowers. It is very important that the flowers are not left outside for a long period of time. This is the single most important thing that you can do to ensure the long-term health of your roses.
We strive to deliver your order on time. Virtually all of our deliveries are successful, however, our shipping agreement with UPS requires a window of up to two days after the expected delivery date for mother nature and other unforeseen events. 09. My purchase is a gift. Will there be an invoice in the box?

We allow you to write a gift note that will be included in the box. There will not be an invoice in the box. Remember to let the recipient know something is coming so the box does not sit outside the home for a long period of time.

10. Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

11. What if my flowers arrive late?

We strive to deliver your order on time.
